Little Martha

Office

4. Duane Allman (11/20/46-10/29/71) "Little Martha" for my new gallery "Telling Stories from the Grave"
and for the November Song Titles/One Artist Challenge. Some can tell stories w/out saying a word!
This time just a little pencil sketching and layering of lyrics.

Added earlier for the November Music Challenge & a lil' Fall color...

I have been a big fan of the Allman Brothers forever, and this early, early song brings back memories. Fantastic collage effect. V

Great ode to time and fine tune off of "Eat a Peach". Sadly Duane was dead by the time the album was released, and I was sixteen when it came out and I bought it.

Yes, indeed. I was not familiar with the guy, although I have heard of the Allman Brothers. It was a lovely piece he played.
