Dual view

Looking up at some of the windows at Sagrada Familia. I found it fascinating that there was stained and clear glass side by side. This phenomenon occurs all over the church, so I have to think it was intentional.

I was there just yesterday with some friends and all the windows are now finished with some beautiful stained glass. The effects of the light are just spectacular.

perhaps the clear glass provides better illumination of the interior, although the rich colour is eye-catching..

That is so interesting. I agree, they are both beautiful. Like Sam, I prefer the stained
glass. Great image Helen. ~

Wow. What a contrast. Both styles are beautiful but I really do prefer the stained glass.

The stained glass is superb! Perhaps they ran out of money or just wanted to make a statement. V

it just needed a really good photographer to line it all up without a trace of blow-out; brilliant

Very interesting. As if the colour has been stripped (or added) from one. A superb capture of these two. V
