Brush Creek Falls

West Virginia

Brush Creek Falls is the highest waterfall in southern West Virginia at 25 feet cresting at 30 feet. In the summer, people swing from a rope at the top and drop down into the creek. The Preserve is owned by the State of West Virginia and the Nature Conservancy. And it's only a 10 minute drive for me so I hike there most days trying to work off my winter fat. :)

Also submitted for the Weekly Informal Challenge, "Great BIG World."

The composition from the side is very appealing, you found the opening in the tree branches Resolution is a treat for the viewers eyes.

My children's father's family, Collins, is from West Virginia. We went there many, many
years ago and I thought it was some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen.
This is proof. Excellent work Karen.
