Last but not least: Lenin

I was going to leave this image out of the gallery but decided it wouldn't be complete without Lenin.

This statue was cast in bronze in 1965 by Páztay Pál.

I'm planning on returning to Memento Park perhaps this weekend to see and photograph more. It's really a fascinating witness to Hungary's dark Communist era.

Perfectly framed. An interesting look to his overcoat.

Yes, not least in an historical sense. Nicely framed by the brick arch, and looks like he is wearing a moth eaten coat. V

I like how this is back lit and framed by the brick. Of course, you would have to include him. Wonderful image. V.

One of the most famous Communist leaders would have to get a spot. Very interesting patina on his coat. Very well presented. V

I like how it is situated inside the red brick archway, Helen.BV

I like the red and dark colors. It pushes Lenin out of the frame so you can't ignore him. VvV

Yes you have to post this one. It´s really a great framing and those red bricks give a beautiful light to the image...v.

Yes, you must include Lenin. A well framed image. Once again the red brick provides a great contrast to the weathered patina of the statue. "V"
