August 2.jpg

Thought I'd show you the other side of this dune!
Another reason for NOT WALKING here is that these
beach grasses are full of ticks and Lyme disease.
In fact, last year instead of warning people about
how fragile the dunes were, there were signs up
scaring people away with TICK WARNINGS!!!!

Lovely! Restful!

I think the tick warning would work better than stay off the grass.

:) Our beach dunes are full of rattlesnakes... so ticks don't sound as scary. This is an absolutely gorgeous scene. Composition is great! V

Peaceful for the soul, relaxing for the eye, well seen. V.

a great composition of the green grass and at the horizon some wind mills!
if nothing helps to get people out of the dunes then it is a good idea to put this tick sign up!

Amazing how peaceful it looks, thinking about all the warnings in contrast! Nature at its best, if only it could be left alone! V.

Funny how people will pay attention to health hazards rather than be nice to Mother Earth's well being. Simple but very pleasing image, kinda reminds me of Freeman Patterson. Just the right amount of sky & the white towers caught my attention. i like this!!!

I think the tick warnings would work better than a conservation message to get people to stay out; sad but true! A fabulous expanse of green here. V
