Taking it Easy

I had already booked today off from work before getting the sniffles.
The intention had been to go to IKEA in Dublin and get some bits and pieces for the house, with the aim of making things tidier and prettier.
Instead I contented myself with taking it easy and finally starting to
read this wonderful novel by Sebastian Barry which I bought months ago.

it is often best to retreat and recharge..love the mood and theme here...books can hang about before being opened...tonight will finally delve in to The Wine Of Solitude by Nemirovsky, hopefully at par with her best work...V

You made the right decision. You need to be really fit to deal with Ikea's general 'sorry not in stock' attitude, their slack check out service should you be so lucky as to find what you want, and the fact that most of their products don't use power tool adaptable screws to assemble..
