8th - Still Learning...

Cheltenham, Glos.

Having subscribed to a couple of photo mags over the years, I'm completely over-run with CDs and DVDs espousing the nuances and capabilites of Photoshop - I suppose I should really watch some of them and maybe I'll learn a thing or two....

Overwhelming amount of learning material! I think I'll roll over and go back to sleep.... nighty, night! :)

but the sheer amount of info is taxing, and the complexity of post-processing wearying..the real trick is to get it right in the camera...same as during film days...like here in this vibrant image...V

All that info would make me tear my hair out! I am technologically challenged.

Fettle-tastic - you can't beat a good tinkering session! :o)

Cool shot Doug. I either gave away or threw away all my magazines, books, DVD's etc. IMHO the best and most economical way to learn are the training films on lynda.com.

I think you are doing just fine as it is.
Colin Storey08-Mar-2011 20:23

Did you knock over the shelf at the local newsagents?!?!?! Learning too much, just spoils the adventure ;)

The day you learn nowt is the day you die!
