4th - Leg Over Gate

near Chedworth, Glos. view map

My last from Saturday's walk - a typical footpath stile, I could quite happily skip over dozens of these a few years ago when I were a lad, I struggle with them now though :o((

So thoughtful of them :-)

These are great for walkers - and I like that track across the fields.

I looked again after reading Pauls comment. Those lines really do paint the composition. This would look extra special in the snow.

Love this shot! Reminds me of many rambles along rights-of-ways and long distance paths in the UK! V

What a great thing to have...nothing like that here. Yeah, hard to get over as we get older!

Isn't that the truth! Stroll along!
Walter Otto Koenig04-Jan-2011 21:21
Great angle and perspective. I like the way you can follow the path to the edge of the woods. The addition of a camera, backpack and tripod makes skipping over the stile a bit more difficult. :)

'Way to go' Doug, always best to stop and take a snap of these before attempting to navigate!!!
Marielou Dhumez04-Jan-2011 21:11

Fantastic shot, you can just see the lines of the footpaths worn into the grass across the fields and drawing the eye through the shot.
