September Challenge: September in Your Life
Tonight Tomasz and I have attended the outdoor concert on Grzybowski Square, with free admission, NIGHT OF THE KLEZMERS "East Meets East", performed by Nigel Kennedy & Kroke band.
Thousands of people came along and the atmosphere of this performance was wonderful. It was part of the I. B. SINGER'S WARSAW - THE SEVENTH ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF JEWISH CULTURE.

"East Meets East" - is an incredible mix of ethnic music, classical, jazz and Jewish chants, which kidnaps, moves and entertains simultaneously.
Nigel Kennedy is one of the world's leading contemporary musicians.
Kroke was established in 1992 in Cracow ("Kroke" being the Yiddish name for Cracow).
At first, the band played music deeply anchored in the klezmer tradition, but over time Kroke enriched the fundamental klezmer forms with elements of jazz and "world music".
