September Challenge: "September in 'Your' Life"

If this challenge is about what is important to you,
I have to start with family. We've started a tradition
where every month or so the ladies of the family get
together for lunch and an afternoon of socializing.
There aren't many of us local but we enjoy it all the same!

My mother is in the back row on the left and
I'm in the back row on the right.

Photo was set up for a 20-second delay to allow me to
get into the picture. I set the camera up on a couple
of paper plates! Hence, the blown out
Boston Creme Pie (which was yummy, by the way!).
