More Blues

for the November challenge..Pink Floyd Song Titles..to see the work of other participants click on - http://form.pbase.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=42595

admittedly this is a pre-challenge image...but it was processed through PS Elements just last night to remove a yellow tint from the lights...my PS skills are primitive, so it was thanks to advice received from some of you after a previous yellow-cast image that I was able to correct this one...now to learn how to treat hot-spots..

for other guitarists out there, the bridge and middle pickups are original Lace Sensors, but the neck pickup was replaced by this Seymour Duncan Humbucker for that fat sound

for whiskey enthusiasts..that's twelve year-old Jameson, wicked yet wonderful..

An evocative image indeed! I have learn to admire guitars from my son and these Fenders are a
thing of beauty with its choice of various pickups that suit the personality of the owners.
Also a nice fiery beverage to top off the evening mood. Very nice indeed...BV

Rosewood fretboard, liquid blues and jumbo frets? Strats like yours drive me back to songs like 'On a Island', 'Comfortably Numb' and 'Wish you were here'.

Easy now! Don't get carried away with the riff or you'll spill your whisky! Cracking shot David, that pale blue is a perfect match for the whites and creams of the guitar
lisamidi26-Nov-2009 22:22

Great bluesy image with this lighting and mood. Reminds me of the Door Song "Running Blue":
"Poor Otis dead and gone, left me here to sing this song,
pretty little girl with the red dress on, poor Otis dead and gone."
Nancy Good26-Nov-2009 17:57
Oh yeah ... I can hear the blues pouring out of the guitar and straight into the drink. Bravo.
Barbara Heide26-Nov-2009 17:52
