Chalk and Cheese - 30.

Comparing a simple single with a many petalled bloom.

I had intended to compare a dog or briar rose with a modern hybrid tea, but the dog roses have finished and the briar haven't opened yet...and its too dangerous (snakes) to get a photo of my simple Scots rose, so I've compared this rose with a simple single but modern version.

Lovely flowers as always. I've never actually seen a wild snake in this country, so I guess we wouldn't even think about that as a gardening hazard.
