Porcelain.

At bit of information which you may or may not be interested in.

This is one of 6 porcelain knobs which are on our Devon Dresser.

When we started to decorate the sitting room 6 layers of paint were removed from them and the surrounding wood.

We have no idea how old this dresser is. It is built into the 3' thick walls of the room.

The house itself is over 300 years old.

Lovely image: it has the sheen and graceful texture of something truly old.

Cool shot...of a glinting knob!! I like the texture in the porcelain, and the glint ;-)

Cool shot. The tiny window reflection really makes it. Interesting info. too.

A beautiful knob and a great minimalistic image. You used the design of the dresser very well in the composition.
