This SP is a little celebration for completing my first year of PADing ( if that a valid word)

Have I enjoyed the experience – yes
Have I learnt anything – tons..
Have I met some great folk – you bet..
Has it cost me a fortune in gear – unfortunately yes..
Will I continue – for the moment yes..


Before starting this journey I used to take snaps, some were OK some were a disaster.
Now my snaps are less of a disaster, and I can generally get the outcome I desire, where as before it was rather pot luck.

Living in a hotel during the week for the last 12 months, has made the challenge of
taking an interesting shot everyday, a difficult task, but I feel that I have made
a reasonable stab of achieving this .

I would like to say that photography has become a great passion for me,
she who must be obeyed calls it an obsession.

Which ever it is, I would not have achieved this anniversary without all your
comments and support. We have a great community here on Pbase and I feel
enriched from the opportunity of getting to some of you, whether on this site or
at a few of the Get Together’s I have been fortunate to attend.
