Ouessant (Enez Eusa, or Ushant) is a French island in the English Channel which marks the northwestern-most point of France.
It belongs to Bretagne (Brittany), Finistère department, and is in the traditional region of Bro-Leon.
The island is a rocky landmass of some 8 km. by 3 km., with a total area of 15 km². Around 950 people live on the island.
