‘I’m ready to go!’

Queenie always sits in the back seat when we take her for a car ride, but this day she decided she’d rather sit in the passenger seat. Not sure where she thought I was going to sit.

Looks like she's saying " This is my seat now! You sit in the back!"

Nice shot of Queenie, I hope she is doing well with her sore. My Magpie alwways rides in the back of my SUV but when I leave to go into a shop she always moves to the front seat.

When we took a defensive driving class many years ago we were told that it was dangerous, not only to the pet, but also to the passengers, to have pets unrestrained in the car. If our dog wasn't in a crate he was trained to sit on the floor of the car in front of my feet. That way he couldn't be harmed by the exploding cushion in the event of an accident. I'm astonished when I see people with treasured pets in their laps as they sit behind the wheel.

Did you sit in the backseat for this trip? At least Queenie wasn't trying to drive.
