Our poor crape myrtle

We had more snow and ice on Thursday, and I have to wonder what all this extreme weather is going to do to our plants and trees. Most all of the bulbs in front have already started to come up.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly
unsharp.

I thinks your crepe myrtle will be alright be alright but the it will be interesting to see what happens with the bulbs. Looks pretty covered in ice. V

Very nice ice coated Crape Myrtle nicely photographed with excellent detail with supreme bokeh. My guess is all will be ok with the Crape Myrtle and the smart bulbs that know when to break soil. They will get a good watering on melting. Nice work with the 300mm. Vote

A chilling image for sure. I bet they will get through this. Some plants are remarkably hardy.
