The goose family had been out for a swim and when finished came over to the wall ringing the lake. Since they’ve drained most of the water out of the lake, there was plenty of dry ground for the goslings to walk around on (where there would normally be water). Good thing since the wall was too high for them to scale.
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

We went back down to Constitution Gardens, our favorite place for bird shots, although since the lake is still being drained (or left to evaporate, apparently) for maintenance, there weren’t many birds there other than geese and ducks.
