There were thousands upon thousands of people marching through my neighborhood on Capitol Hill this morning, headed for the Women’s March on Washington. I saw them from our steps and couldn’t believe my eyes, so grabbed a jacket and my iPhone and ran down to Lincoln Park, which they were passing though from buses parked at RFK Stadium on their way to the Mall area. A neighbor and I were asking where they were from, and we were told Baltimore, North Carolina, New Jersey, Texas, San Francisco, Kenya and Canada, among many other places.
