We visited an exhibit at the Smithsonian’s Sackler Gallery titled “The Art of the Qu’ran: Treasures from the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts,” which was excellent, although difficult to photograph due to the very low light. Having lived in Turkey for eight years and Saudi Arabia for three, it was a subject we were very familiar with. This is the one picture I liked, although I may see if there are any other usable ones later.
