This was taken at what we call the “dog park” because it’s a favorite of dogs in the DQ. Sahraa loves it and in particular the large fountain there. Today she was running around the fountain, then would leap out, tear around the little plaza, then jump back in the water, even sticking her head in. I managed to catch a few shots of this romp with my cell phone.

I couldn’t understand, though, why the pictures from today and yesterday looked so yellow; I tried everything in PS to fix the gold cast, but with minimal success. Suddenly it dawned on me that maybe there were photo settings in the camera (!), and indeed there are, and it was set on some bizarre color scheme called “transfer.” I changed that and then realized I could fix the color of the pictures already taken in the camera, so this now looks more normal, as do the previous two with the Egyptian workman who was so enamored with Sahraa.
