Nizwa, traditional architecture

I’m not sure if this was part of the Nizwa Fort/Castle complex, but it was right next to it. Obviously the buildings have been rebuilt, but I found the style appealing and slightly different from anything else I have seen in in this region.

Working very late tonight but will try to catch up if I get a "break"!

I really like this fortress style of construction. It is dare I say, so exotic, and so beautiful. VV
