The pool at night

This is the large pool at the hotel at night. It was taken about five minutes after coming out of the air-conditioned building, while I was waiting for the camera to warm up and adjust to the high humidity. I spent a lot of time wiping the lens.

Below is a picture of what it first looked like (posted just for fun). With the extreme heat and humidity, it was a constant battle after I got out of the car or a building to take any pictures at all.

I like the one during the day, but this one is something really special. In the winter I have the opposite problem. When I bring the camera in it fogs up. V

Most intriguing... humidity plays tricks with our optics in places like Singapore, too.

I can dive right in! The image on the bottom has a neat foggy ambiance as well
even though it is artificial. V

A beautiful pool and a lovely image! I would think the humidity would really be hard on the electronics if you go from one extreme to another....
