Return to her roots

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Sahraa is a desert dog from Kuwait, so seems pretty comfortable with the heat here. (She is indeed serving as a guard dog as certified since all the local workers are terrified of her.) The so-called hot season is over, although it must have been about 100 degrees F outside (and incredibly brilliant) when I took this picture. Still much cooler than the 140 degrees it can reach in the summer.

For my first "adventure" here, see commentary on this image:

I'm sure she's tired after the travelling but at least you got a good shot of her while she slept.

well, it's good that at least Sahraa is feeling comfotable at your new place. In time you will adapt too, Hope it all will turn out good for you too in time.

isn't it funny how we don't think that dogs (and cats) sleep on their backs - but they sometimes do, We had a cat who used to lie in front of the wood heater on her back with her beely exposed to the heat. This is a crack-up! Lovely photo.
