Chain Bridge, before flood and during

We went to a different area today, and things looked even worse than yesterday. I have some work I need to do before looking at pictures but thought this comparison was quite striking.

what an inundation...it may soon be dangerous to cross as the piers could well be undermined by the strong flow of the river...
