Escaping the camera

I snuck the camera into the entry and managed to catch Sahraa on her favorite setee, which she refuses to use with a towel on it as protection against all the dirt she gets on it. So we leave it off. Being as camera shy as she is, within seconds she vacated the scene (see previous image http://www.pbase.com/helenpb/image/147977638).

Making her get away! This was the behavior of my previous dog (Baldr's predecessor) who did not like the camera pointed at him either.

Wonderful image, Helen. I used Sandy's camera the other day on Hunter Jean. She was sleeping on top of the couch. She could figure out where the lighting was coming from? Hunter Jean is ham when it comes to the camera. She loves to pose for the camera. We take her on our photography trips. Great job. V.

You certainly did catch her fleeing the scene! Does she mind being with you while you are taking pictures that have nothing to do with her or does she just get upset when you point the camera at her?

So funny that she is that camera shy, but I know some dogs are. Wonder if it is the flash that bothers them. I know that I used a flash once to photograph a friend's dog, and that was it... every time he sees my camera he runs! However, this is a wonderful, shot. VV
