Of all my many pictures of churches in Kraków, the ones of this church are the absolute darkest -- there was just very little light in there. It was a lovely interior, though, from what I could tell.
The construction of the Franciscan Church was begun in 1255; it was rebuilt in the Baroque style after the Swedish invasion (17th century) and partially again after the great fire of Kraków in 1850 in the Neo-Romanesque style.
