Rainbow ~ May 24 [6]

New London, Minnesota

Actually this isn't the shot I wanted. Driving across the Mill Pond bridge the rainbow lined up perfectly with the church--*That* would have been *the* shot. However I wasn't able to stop. By the time I parked and ran back the rainbow was already fading... So this is the best I was able to get.

As of late I've been swamped and unable to get around to commenting on galleries. I believe I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and hope to get caught up in the next couple of days. :)

Beautiful light here. I love how it's reflected in the water. It's hard to imagine this being any better.

I can't ever remember getting the exact shot I wanted.
But I would truly be proud if I had taken this one.

I like the rainbow as it is. I especially like the reflection.

Looks good to me. "I thought I could see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it was just some B.....d with a torch bringing me more work!!" GMV :-)

Quit your complaining, it's a voter. Rainbows are so hard.....

Perfect framing of the rainbow. Which is magnificent. And it's a halo over the church which to my mind is more significant given the legend that at the end of the rainbow there is a pot of gold. Ok, that would have been awesome too but this is just as nice. :)GMV.

It is still a very good capture of a rainbow, it's hard to shoot interesting rainbow shots but you managed! Great shot!
