A total of 8 images depicting the return to the nest of one of the adult Grebes (Mom) and the three young after a successful hunt and dinner. Dad provided most of the bounty whilst Mom watched over the young. Mom, however, was also seen to dive and bring up a few minnows for the young to devour.

One of the young just barely made it on to the nest whilst its sibling got a dunking.


The dunked duckie now also climbs aboard whilst Mom is doing some grooming.


Mom and the two young now comfortably settling in.


The third and final of the young having just finished dinner joins Mom and the others on the nest.


All aboard for a little siesta except for Dad who is still finishing his dinner and/or just swimming around to defend the nest site.
