Mehama area

This gallery contains waterfalls in the vicinity of Mehama, Oregon, approximately 20 miles east of Salem. These are on my list for next winter. In 2003, we were going to visit Shellburg Falls, but upon finding the road gated, we opted to drive up to SFSP. As a side note, I was at the Cottage Grove Ranger Station, and I noticed that they had the new edition of Greg Plumb's book. I was told that he had been in there asking a lot of questions a few years ago. I picked the book up, flipped through it, and saw that he hadn't changed his description of the access to the falls in the area. I had been wondering if I should purchase the latest edition, but that made me wonder if it was worth it.
