Breland and I spent almost five weeks in Yellowstone this year, two in May when Yellowstone was still covered in snow, a week and a half in late June, and another week in September. Those weeks in May spoiled me. The heavy snows in the previous winter and the persistent cold kept the animals low, many right along the road. We saw so many bear, elk, bighorn sheep and other animals that we were out with our cameras from before sunrise to after sunset every day. I will be sifting through those gigs of photos for a long time to come.
