Portrait of Go Home

A picture of Go Home today. He gave me a really bad scare this morning. The vet thinks he may have gotten into something that caused him to stop breathing for a bit this morning. He looks better now, but what a scare. He has really become a well-loved member of our family.

Go Home got his name because he was almost run over on the road and we were searching for his owner. We called him Go Home because we wanted to remember not to get too attached to him. His owners were never found and Go Home didn't.

That's a pretty cool story about how he got his name. Cool looking little guy, glad he's okay.

Lovely dog.... he certainly looks none the worse for the ordeal.

Oh, I just love this portrait! What a great name, too. I half hoped the dog that adoped us WOULD get run over when he found his way to our front lawn - I was soon diabused of that notion by both my family and the dog, who is the son I never had. But my dog doesn't have the intelligent look of your dog and I've never gotten such a good picture of him as you have of Go Home.

Cute and great story!! If go home were here in Mexico we`d name him "Solo vino" wich means something like "Came alone" :-D

This is so very clear and detailed, wonderful focus. Beautiful dog. I had a dog named No Go , never wanted to go out, loved hanging around in doors. i wonder how Go Home got his name.

This is the true color of the dog. He's a standard-sized Yorkie and is the prettiest blonde and gray.
Karen Leaf10-May-2005 23:06
He is just the cutest, most well behaved dog I 've seen in a long long time.
Hope everyone is back to normal. You guys must have be beside yourselves.
