Harrison

firstly...to set the scene...the sand sculptures were arrayed on a beachfront area right on Harrison Lake...with a surrounding fence..at least two metres tall...that was difficult to keep out of wider shots....and a lively crowd circulating to admire the huge works also presented a challenge

Amazing sand sculpturing and capturing this photographically was another feat of skill due to the 'flat' none reflective surface. Highlights and shadows spot on David. +V

The quality of the photo is really good; technically it could not be done better due the rather monochromatic subject. You manage to keep people out from the scene, that is good, while it was a little more difficult to get rid of the fence...
I would have bravely tried to clone it away, but it would have been a long work, without any guarantee of final success, so probably you took the best decision.
Let’s see next pictures with pleasure and interest.

Amazing sand sculptures. The details are astounding, both the smooth details of the face and the rough of the rocks. These sculptures look very large. Nicely composed image too. "V"
