This is truly horrific! I am saddened for the folks who live in these areas + other flooded areas. I will pray for all of you until total recovery has been reached. May God bless you all. Diane in Nokomis, FL

Born in Hardin, KY and spend many a great time in Paducah. When I heard of the flooding, I was worried about the flood walls holding. I remember seeing photos of the great flood there and hoped not to see a repeat. I remember the waterline marked on the old Irwin Cobb Hotel.
Thanks to all for these photos.

Great pics. Thanks for sharing. My brother sent them to me. I grew up in Lone Oak but went hunting and boating in almost all of those areas. I am in Palm Desert, CA. now but will soon return to Portland, OR. for the summer. The tv really can`t give one the same appreication for what`s going on as your pics. Thanks again !

I cannot believe what I am seeing. Living in Lexington, KY with most of my family down there. Thank you for posting these. I would never have dreamed it could be this bad. My mom was evacuated from Southgate Nursing Home in Metropolis.
