Good Morning

West Hartford, CT, USA

Storm Alfred is having a terrible impact on Connecticut. There have been a number of deaths and fires and over 880,000 were without power. Many will not get their power back until near Midnight Sunday November 6th and a few probably after that. Our power went out on Saturday October 29th at about 5 p.m. We got it back on November 3 in the afternoon. We "roughed it" at home for 4 nights and then stayed with a friend. Although we had power yesterday, we decided to stay with our friend last night. As it turned out, we lost power again until this morning. The photo is of a note left for us by our friend before she went to work. Good friends are priceless.

Good friends indeed - the endearing human spirit pulling together in times of hardship. I hope you come through this well and my thoughts to those less fortunate.

Wonderful, "warm" greeting! I know what it's like to be without power for long stretches and you are blessed to have such a helpful, caring friend.
