The Flora Fest 2007 begins with a fancy dress Florathon, a brisk two-km walk from Dataran Merdeka to the Kuala Lumpur Lake Gardens on 20 January. Participants will dress in floral-themed outfits, aimed at encouraging an appreciation of flora and bringing families closer together. Malaysia celebrates 50 years of independence and its population of 26 million will showcase to the world the nation’s success at building peace and harmony among the people of diverse races, cultures and creeds. The participants will be judged not by speed but by their floral costumes.
I thought that this photo which I shot turned out to be an interesting candid shot. Taking a closer look at the caucasion man's tag, he appeared to be from the media. He obviously surprised her, just take a look at the facial expression on her face! And the lady on the right as well.
