... Now, the house-boats and floating-houses are apparently mostly occupied by more upscale folks.

This is a nice collection of house boats. I have always enjoyed looking for the house boats as we traveled through Sausalito.

What an interesting subject for a portfolio...! I love the photos and they just keep challenging me to try and guess what type of people the owners are, based on their house design choice... Please consider expanding this gallery to other geographical areas, as the theme's potential is a great, great one. PK
