Milky Way and Sagittarius
This 90-minute exposure shows the dense glow of the Milky Way as seen from the New Mexico Skies guest observatory in May of 2003. It was taken with a Hasselblad 500 C/M and an 80mm lens set at f/2.8. It is centered on the constellation Sagittarius. A close look will reveal several Messier objects. From top, are M-16, M-17, M-18, M-24, M-25, M-23, M-21, M-20, M-8, M-22, M-6, and M-7. Also visible at lower right is the Cat's Paw Nebula.
