Bonjour France, Mon Amour...

Most French are firm believers that their homeland is the most wonderful country in the world... When I start thinking about amazing national heritage left by Charlemagne, Louis XIV, Moliere, Voltaire, Renoir, Victor Hugo while also considering their style of life, national gastronomy and infamous cuisine, glamour of French haute couture and exclusivity of parfumerie, splendor of chateaux and palaces, incredibly rich history and arts coupled with nowadays advanced technologies- well, there is no way to disagree with this point of view :-). I tried to gather here the best images from my French collection, please , tell me if I succeeded. This is not a gallery to depict classic landmarks of France, it has been done already by number of photographers whose talent supercedes mine by far. This is rather a reflection or my understanding of essence of France... Images are best seen on 19" LCD and 1024x768 resolution of the screen, please, click on thumbnail to see full size picture. Every image has an interesting story behind it, please, don't hesitate to ask about it! This is gallery in progress, I plan to create 6 pages, all titles shall be corrected and each image appended with music background based on French songs, classics and popular hits. Your constructive critizism, as well as generocity on votes :-), would be very appreciated. Beau travail! L'Histoire de France a une grande place, c'est normal, c'est ce qui intéresse le plus les touristes; les aspects modernes sont moins abordés (TGV, viaduc de Millau, par exemple...).Mais globalement, vos choix sont judicieux. Quelques problèmes dans les titres des photos, je vous les signale dans un autre mail. Bravo encore, et je transmets l'adresse de votre site à mes amis.

Never was France shown in such gorgeous colors! Your post-processing skills are remarkable, and your sense of color exquisite. The only minor complain I have is that all images have been stripped of their EXIF data, which I think really helps in providing a deeper understanding and appreciation of how each image was achieved --camera, lens, exposure, etc. Regardless, this is a superb gallery and a fitting tribute to one of the most photogenic countries on Earth. Voted!

I'm afraid I have to admit to not being the greatest fan of France, but, admittedly, so far I have only visited its North and central Eastern parts. However, this gallery, so well done and a quite comprehensive tour, has made me think I should explore France further....it's full of beautiful images covering all aspects of what it has to offer.

J'ai une impression, M.Zyziza, que quelque chose a très tort avec votre tête, comme vous avez insulté juste la nation entière et moi pour aucune raison évidente. Si vous croyez que France est putaine d'Europe, c'est beau, tout le monde est autorisé à son opinion et à la liberté d'expressions. Cependant, j'aimerais à la liberté de exercice d'expressions et vous rappelle aussi ce « putaine » de mot définit plutôt aussi quelque chose ou quelqu'un allant d'une main à un autre, et, très souvent. Si vous vérifiez sur l'histoire d'un autre pays européen qui juste au cours de couple de centures était sous Suédois, Lituvania, Allemagne, Russie, France, l'Empire Austro-hongrois, et alors Allemands encore, vous pourriez changer votre perseption du sens de « putaine » de mot. Espérons que je me fais très clair
