Back in the sixties as 8-12 year olds, on summer Sundays, we would get our parents to take us to Dover. We would park in the crowded lot to the right and go get their signature foot-long hotdogs,thick-cut fries soaked in malt vinegar, and a quart of "orange glow" drink . I would opt for mustard, relish, and onions on my hot dog.My misguided sibling put ketchup on his-he was young and did not realize this was not acceptable.I would be heroic sometimes and consume 2 feet of hotdog. Then we would go to the Dairy Bar for ice cream...uummmmm! I'm not overweight anymore, just nostalgic. LOVE
