One of a number of “cippi” which are gravestones that are typical for the area of the poor. The bottom part is a cubic mass, the top a cylindrical shape, decorated with a garland of flowers. The workmanship is poor, and texts will contain spelling mistakes. The Louvre, Paris, also has a big collection of cippi from Sidon. [edited by me from notice in the room]
