Icon of St. Eudokia. Byzantine, 11th century.
Inlaid marble. Height 66 cm, Width 28 cm.
From the Fenari Isa Mosque (Istanbul), former church of the Lips Monastery (Greek: Μονή του Λιβός).

St. Eudokia, hands raised in prayer, is shown in imperial status, wearing a robe and a headdress in the form of a throne. Her name is inscribed on either side of her head.
