Sirince is a place not too far from Selçuk that provides some inkling of what the villages in the district look like. Nice atmosphere there.

Sirince is a former Greek village, whose habitants had to leave due to the 1923 population exchange between Greece and Turkey. Apart from typical 19th century Greek houses, the little town has the ruins of two former orthodox churches.
