This is from the roof of the Valide Han near Nurosmaniye. As you can see it is not quite next door to that mosque, but with this picture in your mind you ought to be able to find your way. For that is Nurosmaniye in the distance. The large han in the centre of the picture is the New Big Han, see there. This region is a warren of hans, and you can enter them all, climb stairs, chat with the many people working their, or just using them for storage. I am afraid some day they will all (have to) move to large scale business centres outside of the old city, and the hans will be turned into luxury hotels or apartments. What a drag.
