From a Monastery Myrelaion, 10th century AD. I found: The Myrelaion Church, the Church of the Holy Anointing Oil, was built by Romanos Lakapenos (920-944) when he converted his nearby palace to a monastery. Since on the platform of the palace no sufficient place was left for the church, it was built on a separate substructure that was attached to the rotunda in the south-east. Now the Bodrum Mosque (see my site).
