Reconstruction of the grave room of ‘Tümülüs A’, a (probably royal) Thrakian tomb near Vize (province Kırklareli, Eastern Thrace). It was excavated in 1938, and found untouched. Dated: around 30-45 AD.
The mural paintings are in the so-called Roman ‘third Pompeian style’ (20 BC - 50 AD).
In the left down corner: the sarcophagus and his contents.
