These pictures I took walking from the south west-side of the Seyhan river (near the Otobüs Işletmeleri), towards the Taş Köprü (Stone Bridge, dating back to Roman times (oldest parts dating to the time of Hadrian 117-138 AD) and recently renovated, still in use as a pedestrian crossing and small scale market place), later crossing it after having taken some pictures of the general lay-out, with the Hilton hotel at the eastern side and the Central Mosque to the north on the west side.

I could not resist contrasting the Hilton with this poor dwelling. I think the Hilton people erected the hotel with future developments in mind, the region to its east are now more slummy than most guests like it (I liked it, but then I cannot afford the Hilton).
