Thank you to Brad King for contributing this image taken from the home he grew up in. He says there was a Farm Store on LeJeune a couple of blocks away and there was nothing like a big glass of A&W root beer out of a glass bottle.

My husband and I bought the house at 259 W. 17th St., right next to the railroad track. His parents house, where he grew up, was on the other side. Two years and two kids later we moved to Broward County.

I beleve that house belonged to the Moore's family Gene, Marion, Danny, Billy & Tim.
I grew up with Tim we were in 4th grade when we met and I was always over at ther home. When I was 17 Tim's Mom & Dad moved to Broward Co. And I moved into the home with Tim . This was in 1978 It was my first time away from home. I was still in high school. I might be wrong. But the home is identicle. And next door to the left from were the photo was taken from was the LeDuke Family.

If the address to that house is 172 W 17 st. then I grew up in that house also. between 1976 and 1986. I am almost positive this is the house.
