1960's - Pizza Palace at 3099 SW 8th Street - inside of folded menu with prices
Miami, Florida
Those prices were delicious but the minimum wage back in the 60s was in the $1.00 to $1.25 range. It's interesting that fish and shrimp dinners were cheaper than fried chicken.
Great group of folks first met there Alberto Briguera, Ed Adams, Roger Collette, Charlie Bellavia, George Young. Gilbert Acosta, Otto Tepley, Bob Paulson, several others whose names escape me now. Still friends with some of these people even though separated by many miles. JERRY WINSTON
