The Musa Isle Fruit Farm is on the other side of the river with the "Lady Lou of Miami" entering the mouth of the state drainage canal. The Car Dale Tower overlooked the Everglades and the origin of the name is obscure but probably comes from the "Cardale Grove" sign that is visible in this image.
